Create retail/bar/digital product

For example, if you want to sell a shirt, coffee or a training schedule via Trainin, this is easy to arrange. For example, you can create separate products to sell via Products > Retail/bar > New item.

At the moment you can offer 3 types of products:

  1. Retail: A retail product is ideal if you want to sell clothing, accessories or supplements.
  2. Bar: A bar product is ideal when you want to sell drinks or food.
  3. Digital: A digital product is ideal if you want to sell training schedules or online videos.

Once you have chosen the type of product, there is the possibility to provide the following information:

  • Name: What are you selling? Try to keep it simple and to the point.
  • Size: Here you have different options, varying from clothing size to amount in grams or milliliters.
  • Description: You can provide a short description of the product which is visible in the Shop
  • Sales options:
    • Sales via cash register: Customers can only purchase products through an employee. For example, think of a cup of coffee.
    • Sale via checkout & shop: Product can be purchased by anyone at any time in the Shop. For example, think of a T-shirt or a yoga mat.
    • Sale via checkout & unique link: Product will be hidden from the Shop, but link from checkout page can be used. This is ideal if, for example, you only want to share a product with a specific group via Whatsapp.
  • Info in e-mail: via More Options you can specify information that will be visible in the purchase confirmation e-mail; for example, whether the customer can pick up the product or certain instructions on how to use the product.
  • Price: you can specify different prices, such as the price, but also via More Options a special price (so that customers see this special price in the Shop) and finally also the Purchase price (so that you can gain insight into the profit).
  • SKU: You can specify a SKU (Stock Keeping Unit), for example a unique product code.
  • Stock: There is a possibility to keep stock, which is of course reduced if a product is purchased.
