With the Wellhub integration, Wellhub members book your group classes straight from the Wellhub app. Trainin sends your schedule to Wellhub automatically and handles bookings, cancellations and check-ins, so you manage everything in one place.
Wellhub used to be called Gympass. This article explains how to set up the integration, how to check that it works and how to use it day to day.
Good to know
- Wellhub members don't become clients in Trainin. No credits are charged and the booking shows no revenue in Trainin.
- Wellhub pays you directly, based on check-ins. That happens outside Trainin.
- You can offer group classes and courses on Wellhub.
- A Wellhub check-in is registered as attendance. It doesn't open a door.
Before you start
- You have an agreement with Wellhub and access to the Wellhub partner console.
- You have permission to manage marketplace integrations in Trainin. The owner has this permission by default.
- The Wellhub integration has been switched on for your business. If it hasn't, Integrations › Wellhub shows an information page. Contact Trainin support and we'll switch it on for you.
Step 1: Activate Wellhub in Trainin
- Go to Integrations and, under Marketplace, choose Wellhub.
- Click Activate Wellhub.
You're now on the Wellhub settings page. It shows the details you need to link your locations.
Screenshot 1Integrations › Wellhub, before activating: the empty page with the "Activate Wellhub" button. Show the sidebar with the "Marketplace" group.
Step 2: Link your location to your Wellhub gym
Wellhub works with gyms and Trainin works with locations. You link the two in the Wellhub partner console.
- On the Wellhub page in Trainin, under Location IDs, copy the ID of the location you want to link. Use the copy button next to the location.
- Sign in to the Wellhub partner console and select Trainin as your system.
- Enter the location ID you just copied and finish the step in the partner console.
After a few minutes your gym appears under Gym IDs, with the linked location(s) and your Wellhub products. Do several of your locations belong to one Wellhub gym? Then link all of them to the same gym ID.
Screenshot 2Integrations › Wellhub, after linking: the "Enable Wellhub" switch on, "Gym IDs" with a gym, location and products, and "Location IDs" with the copy button. Highlight the copy button.
Can't link through the partner console?
The gym ID can also be entered by hand on the location, in the Wellhub gym ID field under Locations. This needs a separate permission. Contact Trainin support if you need it.
Step 3: Open activities up to Wellhub
For each activity you decide whether Wellhub members can book it and how many spots you keep for them.
- Go to Activities and open the group class or course you want to offer on Wellhub.
- Click edit and go to the Marketplaces section.
- Switch on Enable marketplaces.
- Under Wellhub spots, enter how many spots per session Wellhub members can book. The default is the maximum group size.
- Choose the Wellhub product the activity is listed under on Wellhub. You agree on your products with Wellhub.
- Click Save.
Trainin now puts the upcoming sessions of this activity on Wellhub automatically. When you change the schedule later, for example a time, instructor or room, that change is sent to Wellhub automatically too.

Change the spots for one session or series (optional)
Want more or fewer Wellhub spots for one session or a series? Edit the session or series in the calendar and change Wellhub spots. If you leave the field empty, the number from the activity applies.

Check that everything works
The Wellhub page in Trainin shows:
- Gym IDs: which Wellhub gyms are linked, to which locations and with which products.
- Sync status: when your schedule was last sent to Wellhub. If something went wrong, the latest error shows here. Contact Trainin support if you see one.
A session is listed on Wellhub when all of these are true:
- The Wellhub integration is switched on.
- The activity has Enable marketplaces switched on and at least 1 Wellhub spot.
- The session's location is linked to a Wellhub gym.
- The session is in the future and hasn't been canceled.
If you schedule a session at a location without a Wellhub gym, Trainin warns you in the calendar.

Working with Wellhub day to day
Bookings
When a Wellhub member books a class in the Wellhub app, Trainin confirms the booking within a few minutes if there's a spot. If the class is full, has already started or was canceled, Trainin declines the booking and the member sees that in the Wellhub app.
Wellhub members never get more spots than your Wellhub spots, and never more than are still free in the class. Your own clients and Wellhub members book from the same pool of spots.
Recognizing Wellhub bookings
- In a session's participant list, a Wellhub member has the Wellhub label.
- Bookings › Marketplaces shows all marketplace bookings together. You can filter by marketplace and search by name.

Screenshot 7Bookings › Marketplaces: the "Marketplace bookings" table with the "Marketplace" column.
Canceling
- When the member cancels in the Wellhub app, the booking is canceled in Trainin with the reason "Canceled via Wellhub", or "Wellhub late cancellation" when it happens after the cancellation window. Wellhub handles late cancellations itself.
- When you cancel a session or a Wellhub booking in Trainin, Trainin tells Wellhub automatically.
Checking in
Wellhub members check in through the Wellhub app when they're at your location. Trainin passes the check-in to Wellhub, and Wellhub uses it for your payout.
- With a booking: the member is marked as present for that class. This only works on the day of the class.
- Without a booking: Trainin registers a Wellhub visit, so you can see walk-in visits as well.
Do you use access control, such as a door or turnstile? A Wellhub check-in doesn't open it and doesn't appear in the Check-ins overview.
Overview of Wellhub members
Go to Integrations › Wellhub and, under Wellhub members, click View members. For each member you see the name, Wellhub ID, number of visits and the dates of the first and last visit. You can export this list to Excel or CSV.
Screenshot 8Wellhub members: the table with Name, Wellhub ID, Visits, First visit and Last visit, and the export button.
Limitations
- You can't lower the number of Wellhub spots below what Wellhub members have already booked.
- Once a session is listed on Wellhub, you can't change its location. Cancel the session and schedule a new one at the other location.
- Wellhub accepts a cancellation window of up to 24 hours. If your window in Trainin is longer, 24 hours applies on Wellhub.
- On Wellhub a class lasts at most 200 minutes. If your session is longer, it's listed on Wellhub as 200 minutes.
Pausing Wellhub
On the Wellhub page, switch off Enable Wellhub. Trainin then stops sending data to Wellhub and doesn't process new bookings. When you switch it back on, the integration works again with the same settings.
Frequently asked questions
My class isn't on Wellhub. What can I do?
Go through the list under Check that everything works. Usually the location isn't linked to a Wellhub gym yet, or Enable marketplaces is still off for the activity. If that doesn't solve it, contact Trainin support.
Can I see my Wellhub income in Trainin?
No. Wellhub pays you directly. Trainin does show which members booked and how often they visited.
Can a Wellhub member also become my client?
Yes, but it doesn't happen automatically. If a Wellhub member wants their own membership or class pass with you, they create an account in your app or web shop like any other client.
